I have just recently aquired a Hoffritz Original Bowie Knife

Hoffritz
NY
Germany

Looks to have been made by Puma

Has that kind of Quality has a real stag handle

can anyone help me with a value or if is a collectable

Thanks, Butler Hendrix

Well now, let's think about this for a minute. If you just bought it--we assume you did not steal it--wouldn't what you just paid for it establish it's value. It may be worth a whole bunch more to someone else and worth nothing to someone who has no desire for a bowie knife.
And one other point:EVERYTHING is collectible these days!! L O L !!

It's worth what you paid for it.
It will be worth what the next guy is willing to pay for it.
:D

I think hoffritz is a chain of knife stores. I think they went out of business in the 1990s. After purchase, but before sale to the public, they stamped their name on everything, including Pumas, but the blade still said Puma.
