Well now, let's think about this for a minute. If you just bought it--we assume you did not steal it--wouldn't what you just paid for it establish it's value. It may be worth a whole bunch more to someone else and worth nothing to someone who has no desire for a bowie knife.

I think hoffritz is a chain of knife stores. I think they went out of business in the 1990s. After purchase, but before sale to the public, they stamped their name on everything, including Pumas, but the blade still said Puma.
