i am pretty new too. but i have been impressed with the generosity and general good will of many here. Red is just askin'.....i bet someone will help him out too. We shouldnt be harsh with newcomers...otherwise they might stop participating and we could lose the opportunity to have contributing members on the forum. You might not want to help him out but you don't have to be a big meanie;)....lets drink to Red gettin' a SH!!!!

Bruce is a good guy and while he may not have been here as long as you and does not have the post count you do he is a HOG and has a great love for Busse knives. I have had personal dealings with him and would not hesitate to help him out if I had what he was looking for. And one other thing, the purchase he made from me wasnt a cheap one at all.
 
Thanks for the kind and not so kind comments. I do understand and appreciate everyone's position.

I have seen other forums where users will pass around things from user to user in the spirit of sharing and after seeing what a great forum this is, thought it would be a good idea, but obviously not for all.

Thanks to those who have extended offers to send me their own personal knives to use and review. I greatly appreciate your generosity, however, my post was meant more to benefit others, than myself.

I was actually thinking specifically how this could be a huge benefit to our military and/or law enforcement personnel, who do not make the kind of salaries to support buying and selling many different models of Busses until they find the actual one that is THE ONE for them. These are in my opinion the most deserving recipients of the quality that Busse offers.

I would just like to say that this guy is a real HOG!


He contacted me awhile back for a couple knives. We got to talking and he mentioned wanting to buy a knife for a service member and of course I gave in.


Anyway, I told him that I just sent my 1st cousin a ETS SJ and he was leaving for Afghanistan . So, to my shock and surprise, he said ...


send me the ......., and see if your cousin has a friend in need of your last ETS SJ and sheath.:eek:.

I got my cousin on the phone and he lit up. He was like oh yeah:eek:. I definitely have someone that could use a good knife.

SO, both the ETS SJ"s I purchased are on the front line and one is there because of RedbeAR15:thumbup::cool:

I think he is a good man:thumbup:.

Here's where the knives are. I am waiting on some actuall pics from the line but I will post those when they come in.

i would help but dont think i have what you want to try. i have a custom shop batac, ffbm. or cg ash1. i could send all users and would kill me to lose one but sometimes you got help to be helped .the hogs are the best in the forum holves down .......... i trust the hogs that say they know U so with the hogs back you im there.
