"HOG Muk" Proto. . . Sneak Peek ! ! ! !

I am really hoping I like the final product. I have shop credit and that is the only way I could afford one now. I like many Busse designs, love INFI and the warranty/customer service for models owned, but after all this time drinking the kool-aid I am getting tired of all the drama, getting hopes up and waiting for what we want. I think this is why many of the Old Skool HOGs have been on here less and less. We used to wait much, much longer, but without all the leading on as I recall.

Stick with it MMIAMuk. Seems the Muk should be the next issued blade from the shop. It SEEMS logical anyways. Folder is unlikely b/c of the work to assemble a folder. Muk is an unusual design. We've had TOO MANY large blades of late. (BWM, KZII, etc.,) Seems like a run of Muk's would make sense right now.

Hopefully it wont change from the prototypes. Im just hoping we see it by knob creek or blade at the latest.

Here's a question to the muk'sters: Would you be satisfied with a Muk, of current design, in choice of "normal" handle materials and coatings/satin if it was offered by the Swamp in SR101?

Dump the talon hole and keep the flying V for the Hogmuk and the AD-style for the mini-Muk, but have it a Swamp Rat.

Would you consider it or are you holding out for an INFI muk???

Oh, I still have faith and Jerry is no liar. I am sick at home and got news that an old friend ended his life recently, so I am posting more bitter and whiny than usual.
Just gotta say.........

I agree Dennis, I'm guessing a knife like this won't be offered in a ganza anyhow, it will be a regular offer from the company store or knob creek or blade. I know we have the CABS/SCABS now which are smaller knives, but it seems we are due a muk size knife soon.

I really want to see both configurations to make everybody happy. I do want it in INFI with satin and CG with standard Nukarta and G10. Mine would be a satin and black G10 MiniMUK.

I like the Hogmuk design better with the flying V pattern handle. I wouldn't mind a swamprat version, but would rather have a INFI MUK. My muk would be used in food prep and skinning/cleaning game and fish. INFI is more rust prone than SR-101, so thats the main reason id rather have a INFI version.

For want of release date a blade was lost
For want of a blade a MUK was lost
For want of a MUK an expedition was lost
An expedition gone all for want of one INFI HOG MUK!
