OK, BP is WAAAAAY down, mukkers. My neighbor with a bobcat did my driveway and cleared up the street around it. Then about 15 min ago, the city sent down one of those pivot-in-the-middle loaders with a snowplow blade on it. He cleared the entire cul de sac and likely pushed the snowmounds around the street back to curb-level.

WHEW!

Here's hoping the weather gets better. It's 35 and sunny right now.

I used to hate that when I was a kid growing up in Nebraska. I would get the driveway and sidewalks cleared, then the snowplows would plow the snow from the streets back on the driveway and sidewalk.

Winter has been MUKtacularly bad for those folks in the NorthEast.

When it's like that here, I generally go through my emergency kits, just to make sure everything is ready for when it really gets bad.

Once I finish with that I sit around watching my favorite movies, and sharpen my knives, and hope things get really bad.

Usually it never gets really bad, but at least all my knives are sharp.

God bless, Dennis and stay cool. ( Since winter injuries are so often associated with the extreme exertion that goes with shoveling, or chopping wood.) People always say, "Stay Warm", which is just stoopit!

At most you should be "luke warm", which is not the same as LUKE COOL cause then you would be Paul Newman which is a whole nuther kind of cool and won't get you out of any snow drifts.

BTW~ If I ever get my own sled dogs...when I want them to go...I am going to yell, MUK MUK!

Did I mention yet I'm down over 10lbs on my diet? Weight Watchers, baby!!!!

Honestly, it's a lot easier than I thought it would be. Mukkin easy 99% of the time. My weight now starts with a ONE again. 15-20 (depending on how I look at 185) to go!

Tonight we had Pulled Pork sammiches, mashed cauliflower/taters and salad. And half a beer. I still have plenty of "points" to have a hermit (dang I love hermits) and tea later on.
