Yes and no. My wife, an AVID shoveler, got up mega-early and shoveled before the rain. I pulled more snow off the roof and then shoveled it away when I came home early from work.

I mukin love her. Esp. since my snowblower died on Wednesday. d'OH!
 
Muk - the snow is terrible. Roads are bare-ground, but the mounds are just too close to traffic. You can't see anyone coming when getting out of my street. Bad bad bad!

I've been pretty calm about this stuff. I'm tired of it. I just looked - the last day it was above freezing for 24 hours was back around the Solstice. This is unprecidented. This cold AND this much snow. Usually we get one OR the other. Never both. Even the "warm" temps coming tomorrow-Mon are only 40 degrees TOPS and several degrees below freezing overnight. Snow won't melt much in that.

On another note - I wonder how Shane is doing. Hope it goes well and he's back on his feet by the weekend.
