Oh man. Almost midnight and this is the warmest it's been in well over a month. 36 days to be exact. My roof is defrosted and the gutters are flowing.

WOO HOO MUKKIN-A!!!!

Now we just need about 5 more days of this just to get the on-the-ground snow totals to something. . . less epic. :)

Thats good your getting some warm weather and its melting...hope it doesn't turn to ice tonight.
 
Nope. Above freezing until after dark tomorrow. Windy as a b-word now. That's great news for snow-bye-bye-ability. I remember 2 X-mas's ago. We had something like 12" of snow at nightfall on Christmas eve. We went to the cabin thinking it'd be very old-school. By the lake. Log cabin. Snow all around.

WRONG!

That night, it was 20mph winds and 45 degree temps. There was a small pile left by 6am. ROTFL!

That won't happen tonight, but we'll see some serious knock-down over the next 18 hours, I suspect. It takes a lot of stress off all of us - there is no place to put the stuff anymore.

Wow...12" of snow on Christmas...that would be awesome. I havn't seen that since I was a kid growing up in Nebraska.
 
Gonna go have a cigar - haven't had an outside cigar in almost TWO months. I'll brave the wind for a short one. My wife will love me. LOL
