"HOG Muk" Proto. . . Sneak Peek ! ! ! !

I don't have alot of sharpening experience compared to some aces here, but I have used a set of sticks from "Steamboat Springs" with hair-popping success. It is probably the best bet for a novice like me, but I would like to eventually try out a nicer outfit.

is a stick with a wood handle

i paid a quarter for it at a flee market

two bits well spent

I don't have much either, but i can get them decent on a leather strope.


Those sticks sound pretty good.
 
I think our messages are getting crossed up, oge. I'm talkin' about the Mad Dog with regard to price, not the sharpener. Sorry for the confusion.
 
Anyways..., the price don't make the knife anymore than the clothes make the man. You don't always get what you pay for. Sometimes you just get screwed!!! muk
