The swinging target is awesome really helps you throw more instinctively because your focus is more on aim and timing. Funny thing is i have a friend who can stick a knife every time in a stationary board but my swinging and spinning log he can barely hit and after about 20 throws gave up because he couldn't stick it once... build yourself one you will definitely enjoy it. Only advice is use a heavy and solid enough log so when you throw axes and swords it doesn't go flying all crazy when you hit it.
 
And watch out the spinning log sometimes throws the knife back at you with force...:eek:
But it teaches you to dodge knives ;)
