We have an active post on autos you drive and have seen posts on watches before. I am curious as to what everyone's favorite pen it.

My top pic, out of the ones I own, is a Rotring 600, Series 1, fountain pen with extra fine nib. It has an awesome balance and weight to it and the knurled grip is a great texture that looks good and provides a firm grip.

At the rate I lose pens, I could never, ever own an expensive pen. I'm a "whatever I can steal from my friends pen jar" kind of guy. Also, your pictures are broken.

I keep a Pelikan Rollerball on my desk at home. I like their refills the best. I also like how the pens screw together when your not using them.

I've been carrying a Sanford uni-ball micro (0.2mm) for as long as I remember.

I buy them by the dozen and get ~ 6 mo use out of one, if I don't loose it

they're cheap and I'd bet it would hurt to get poked with one ;)

Ill agree Sanford Uniballs are the best, the thinner ones like .2-.5, the thicker ones are just to messy.

I carry a matte black "Write in the Rain" bullet pen, like a bullet Fisher Space Pen that comes with a Write in the Rain cartridge. Credit card recipes aside all of the writing I do ends up doing is on water proof paper, field books and filling out forms in the field, regular ink can smear and sometimes doesn't stick at all.

At 3.75" closed I have more room for a bigger knife! :D and it's blunt so I don't get stabbed when I'm crawling around.

My company may "have to" buy a metal lathe, making one of these out of Ti is high on my project list!

I have three rotring 600s, and I love them, but for most of my writing I use a pelikan with a custom ground nib. I have a harder and harder time using cartridge/converter pens; they just don't hold enough ink and they dry out too rapidly if you don't use them constantly.

I really like my benchmade Stainless pen. Its heavy, but without the cap on has very nice balance and feel. At least for me. Been using it for almost 2 years now (I got it when they came out) and have gone through 3 cartirages so far.

A lot of people don't like these pens much, but I really enjoy mine. I also love peoples reactions when they pick it up..."damn, this thing is heavy". I get a lot of positive responses about it too because it looks kinda different :). Not that I plan on using it as such, but I think it would make a good last ditch weapon as well. Probably work as a glass breaker as well--although I havent tested it.
