New one from Anders. Very cool piece in my eyes...

What do you all think?

A really sinister looking knife! the grinds on the spine and the clip are fantastic, must have been sweating bullets the whole time he worked them. I'd love to see a shot of it in hand for proportion purposes. I bet it has a nice blade heavy balance. too cool man. thanks for sharing.

I believe the blade comes in around 7.5" which when I found out was a surprise because it looks to be more compact/shorter from the photograph.
I really love the blade profile. Anders is a tremendous artist. His pieces bleed refinement and taste.

Cool piece, and 7,5 inch is indeed a lot larger than it looks!!

Marcel

It is a full 2" wide - that's probably why it looks smaller overall. First and only time I've made a classic end piece like that and first time I've used stag...found a piece that had "my" shape to it. I wanted to make a classic bowie shape but tweaked in size. Influence is old sheffield and persian scimitars ( the shape of the tip)

Glad it appeals!

I really like the grind profile and the size of the stag handle, it looks like it would swell in the hand, and especially the crown look to the butt instead of just sanding it flat and caping it off. Nicely done....bravo!

A Facebook friend showed me this one Sat. and I told him I've been lusting for a piece of Anders' art since he started posting.
Thanks for showing it, Don.
Very dramatic piece.

I can't take my eyes off of it. It is truly an amazing work of art.

Beautiful. The art world would say "playful," and be right. Really cool would do as well.

I love this knife. I love the compact.. almost squat! nature of it... yet also Ander's typical beautiful lines, textures and finish...

Just like most things I see from Anders, I like it!

Very nice!

kind regards,

Jos

I am going to stay away from the girth and length comments, and state that I really, really like this knife! Anders, your work is always so full of talent and adventure. The grinds and hamon set off an awesome blade profile, and nice to see the stag. Good stuff!
