This is a large semi Bowie OAL is 12 7/8", Blade is 7 1/4" long and 2 1/8" wide.
Steel-1080 clay quinched and double tempered ( 2 cycles)
Guard is brass
Handle is Sambar Stag w/ linen mycarta spacers.
Butt cap is 1080

Agreed... that one is simply FANTASTIC!!! Wish I'd have been a bit quicker on the draw here and had a little more extra cash. I may have to place an order in the not-so-distant future for something like this from you. :thumbup: :D
 
Man, just saw this.....great looking knife. I love that blade shape and the clay quench goes well with it. You did a good job on this. :thumbup:
 
I am not a shearh maker or leather craftsman by any means but I think this one came out OK.

Received this yesterday and the workmanship, knife and sheath, is outstanding. This knife has one of the best shaped stag handles I've ever *ahem* handled, and the flow up into the guard/thumb rest is perfect. Incredibly sharp blade and hefty without being awkward due to the full distal taper.
