Hold Out 2 or Recon 1 (tanto)

So I'm trying to decide which knife to get next and since money is tight and I can't buy both. I'm looking between Cold Steel's recon 1 tanto and the Hold Out 2, both 4inch variant. What do you think would be the best choice, based on functionality, looks, cutting power, resharpening, and overall wear with time? Both in XHP steel.

Depends on what are you gonna use it for, I don't think tanto blades are too useful outside self defense, but that's only my opinion. They are both great, quality knives, so whatever you get, you won't regret it.
 
The Recon 1 has some of the best ergonomics of any folder I've held, and Cold Steel does tantos best IMO. I've never handled a Hold Out so I can't comment on them, but while the handles don't look ergonomic to me, I love the blade shape.
 
Get a Recon if you want it to be a defense blade, it's a tank of a knife. I doubt it can't be used for some utility
