LawyerSam, the mini-grip is one great knife and one of my favorites. IMO, it's one every knife enthusiast should experience. Not everyone agrees with that for various reasons, but that's just my take. You can get it for less (than $84) on line if you look around.

Mini-Grips are good knives. I like everything about them except for how the scales sound thin and hollow. Yes, they are made to be light and they are indeed sturdy. But it does sound cheap if you tap on it. In any case, I have 4 mini-grips and I like them. I've found the edges to be hit or miss though, I've had them come both razor sharp and dull from the factory.
