Hole opener for Sebenza

I'm on board, I think the hole looks pretty good. I like both designs; I'd probably want one of each.

This S90v you speak of is an even more enticing concept:D

Chamfer the oval some, and what you're left with is not only one less "part" for your Sebenza (two less parts in the instance of my double-lugged Seb), but you've also got an ambi opener that will not catch and snag the corner of your pocket on the draw.

I've always thought a hole-opening Sebenza would be right on time.

Professor.

Bingo! I've owned several Sebs that have decided on their own to open partially in the rear pocket, especially with a dual thumb stud. My double stud Striders do the same thing, so it's not just a Sebenza issue. (There are going to be pluses and minuses for each type of blade release) Your mileage may vary:)

It's personal preference, but I like the hole opening method.
For some reason, my thumb doesn't always positively engage thumb studs (especially under pressure or if I'm not looking at it). With a hole, my thumb naturally falls into it and engages the blade.
I agree with Professor regarding the chamfer on the hole.
Perhaps a different shaped oval, or a series of two or three holes, or some other practical yet distinctive hole-opening method for Sebbies would be welcomed.
(I've owned a number of Sebbies and always sold them off only due to the thumb studs. Just have an impairment in that way, I guess...)
