Holes in liquid stay put...

The "fingers" were pretty freaky. I half expected them to stand up, put on a top hat, grab a cane and start tap dancing...:D
 
Highly saturated solutions of cornstarch and water are fun to play with. Add water to cornstarch until it becomes very thick but not dry. You can grab it and it will come away in chunks. Hold it in your hand and it will melt through your fingers until you squeeze it.

I'd never seen what would happen while being shaken like a James Bond martini. Those replicating protrusions were wild.
 
That's freaky at the end. It's cool though. I've never seen anything like it before. :D
