Holgram's Folder Collection

I just acquired another Prince Customs Protean drop point in CPM-20cv fully blackwashed and a Shirogorov x Monkey Edge Neon Zero in elmax. I want to add them to the first post but it is not letting me.

You guys think I should cull the first post to just bare specs and rankings to fit more in and add the additional info as posts after this point?

If you think it's a nice detail to add, maybe throw in how many fasteners each knife has, on each side. Could also add a nice whimsical/humorous passing thought to compliment each one as well, something like "upon seeing this knife, you'll be pleasantly surprised to know, I had a sharp thought". Should really beef up each description nicely.

I will confirm that the new Shirogorov Neon Zero Monkey Edge Frag Pattern, the one with the elmax blade, has only light milling on the inside and not the deep milling of the older M390 versions. That being said the action is probably the best flipper action that I have felt and the knife is is just superb with distinctively good acoustics also.

Agreed it’s at the top of the heap, along with other Shiros. I lost my Neon somehow. Hoping it magically reappears one day.

On the updated Zero, the blade tip is no longer accessible with a fingernail—the tip is noticeably more protected than on the earlier Zeros. While I do appreciate the deeper milling on the older versions, this increased tip protection makes the newer Zero the better choice for me overall. It allows me to carry the knife with greater confidence. That said, tip exposure was never a significant concern with the older Zeros in proper carry situations—but it is still a meaningful improvement.
