• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Shelby, I'm interested in a digital camera I think. I remember you and another fella discussing Sonys' different models awhile back. Any advice you could give me would help. Price is not a great concern being as I remember ya'll mentioning somewhere around a grand. Now the pics I take will range from close up like a lot of yours to possible 100++ yards. Am I better off with a 35mm? I guess I'm asking will the digital take good pics at a distance without having to buy all kinds of extra lenses? Finally without trying to negate what I aforementioned I do not want to spend anymore than I have to. Thanks Mark. P.S. This post does pertain to this forum, for obvious reasons.

Nice work as usual AO.

GDPB, check this out. IT's the F717, a slightly newer model than the 707 but how much different for longer ranges shots I don't know. Looks like some of the pics go past 100 yards with good results? (pics 3 and 4 are the best examples, IMO).

Cool pic. I really admire your work. Say, did anyone get around to tracing out the FWP and vectorizing it (don't know if that's the term)?

FC-Fire/Rescue, glad to see you made it to BFC from Strategos, if my links brought you here.
