I noticed that there are some real Schrade & Camillus bargains on eBay this weekend. I've won two great knives that I never would have won (low bid) if I was competeing with a bunch of other collectors.

Unfortunately, the opposite has also been realized. Not a good weekend to sell your Camillus knives! Oh well, I guess it all evens out!

I like a buyers market. I won a Schrade NY 855RB yesterday. No luck today other than some pyrex bowls :D.

What did you win Kevin?

So far, a Schrade 889PM & a 1982 World's Fair knife by Parker Cut Co. I have a bunch of low - bid knives out there that I'm watching & I am very interested in winning a few of them...

Happy bidding on them. I only have one I am bidding on, tho it is still a few days off. I expect it to go rather high, but I still want it.

G'Day, A good tip is to load 'Parker' only as your search to pick up bargain priced Schrades. Sellers put under 'Parker 'rather than Schrade. I have now picked up 11 American Eagles NIB this way. Example. Ebay# 190112971396 is 4 NIB American Eagle for total $60.06 and at $15 each mint in box would have to be considered value buying. They sell for US$85 each on Oz Ebay. Hoo Roo

Add to that a big barlow knife.

Never seen this one, but it's a 5 incher with a serial number. I bought it pretty much unopposed like Kevin said.

Thawk,

That's a limited edition Mac Tools commemorative - Schrade Daddy Barlow. I was supposed to snipe that but I went out to dinner with my wife instead.

so that's why (holiday weekend) i got 3 ebay knives (Imperial and 2 Camillus), all mint from 1950's (or maybe late "40's) for total of $55.
i wonder how often forum members are unknowingly bidding against each other ? i would back off on some if i knew there was a forum member who really needed it to complete a collection. roland

I sniped it, stayed home and had a shrimp boil. I'm sure it had some decent packaging at one point. I've seen this big barlow before, but never as a stock Uncle Henry.

Won this last night unopposed, $24.99 never seen this pattern either, it was made for Moore - Handley in 2002, they are a large Hardware Supply Co in AL
It comes in a Old Timer Classic tin.

Hey, I have one of these too, #469 and a very sleek knife. Have never seen an example of the 89x series with this two blade configuration other than this edition. Wonder if there were 50 or 999 made??

I'm thinking probably only 500, but anything is possible.

Thawk,
My Daddy Barlow just arrived. Same as yours, with the exception of a blade etch that reads "MAC TOOLS Limited Edition". Big sucker! 9" open and nice & light for the size. I feel the impulse to carry this monster, but what the heck could I use it for? It would scare the heck out of the sheeple here in NYC!

Ditto Kevin. Mine came today, and that is one big blade. I think I'll just get it out to scare neighborhood bullies when they pick on the little kids.
