This guide is a demonstrated performer. It has been used for hollow, and flat grinds as well as doing the secondary bevel all the way to strop with leather belt.
Two version available. The Multi Guide Pro $275.00 shipped USA and the Multi Guide Junior $175.00 Shipped USA. Both have the same capacity and function. The pro features a heavier duty construction for continuous daily use.
Aluminum construction with stainless steel spacer shelf for the carrier to ride on.
Pictures below show units installed on customer's machines. One customer in the UK uses his guide to grind folding knife blades.
I use my personal one to grind fixed blades. I grind edge down and use a carrier to hold the blank. It greatly increases life of my grinding belts. I have a 36 grit 3M Cubitron II belt that has ground more than 50 blanks and is still going.
Also available are the sliding guide mounts to retrofit to your machine. These are very sturdy mounts that adjust quickly, will not slip, and are self centering when tightened. NO SLOP! With this mount you will be able to quickly and reliably position the guide without wondering if you got all of the slop out of the mount the same way so your bevels will match. These have been retrofit installed on KMG, USA No Weld, Pheer so far. If you a specially designed mount for your machine feel free to contact me to discuss it.
