Hollow grind tang

If you ground it with 10” wheel then you might could turn your handle stock on a lathe to fit it. I’m not exactly sure how to set it up but with some playing around I think you could do it. I’m just thinking out loud but if you had a 10” wide board and centered it on a lathe and just turned the edges, wouldn’t that be the same radius? That’s assuming you’ve got the radius even on the knife.

I don't know what I was thinking . . . I have to start to grind the other side to figure it out that grinding this kind of blade is same thing as grinding FF distal taper blade Hollow , contact wheel ,distal taper .....they confused me this time .
OK , it is done and I like it ! Blade is unbelievably light , I don t think that there is other way to make it this light.....not blade for chopping but for light use ..............now it is 1.5mm on 1 cm. from spine , will cut !
I will grind two more in 52100 steel , this time grind will go faster
I like it ........

Much better idea. I do that with some chefs blades.
