I assume the grinder is for sale by you as opposed to a question about the grinder.
Interesting looking rig. My complaint would be that if it does work like it should, a lot of the challenge of grinding, and therefore satisfaction would be lost. If it doesn't work right a person might easily get hurt.
How does it work for you?
Also, just an offhand suggestion about auctions. A whole lot of people get really irritated with reserves and refuse to bid on a reserve item. Better to just start the bidding at the lowest price you are willing to accept for the item and let it go on from there. If bidders think it worthwhile they will bid it up to their perception of what its worth anyway. Like I said just a suggestion born of experience.
And yes it works very well for its intended purpose. It is very safe to use, far safer than my belt grinder. It is made for production type work and is not intended to be a substitute for skill. If you have a bunch of hollow grinding to do this machine will save you time and some heartache! This machine is also built like a 49Buick. You can pass it on to your kid later in life. It uses standard belts from Grainger. I replaced one cost me $3.69 Base is solid and grinding wheels are adjustable so as they wear you can move them closer together and maintain the same grind lines. Reserve on this is $250. and I will split the shipping if you bid and say you are from Bladeforum Thanks. Sorry
if I ofended anyone by posting this machine for sale.
