I have a Military 440V I bought new years ago. I can't believe you want a knife that cuts better. Mine cuts so easily through everything I couldn't ask for more out of a Military.
Well I Geuss Sal pretty much summed it up, interesting, but wont happen anytime soon.
Personally, I really like the idea, one of my favorite cutters is the Large Sebenza (Partially due to the high hollow ground blade), cross that with the extra length and lightweight of the military, and you have a real winner. Some S90v wouldn't hurt either.
Yes, I can easily understand how such a project would be a rather low priority compared to others that you are invested in. And in all honesty, I myself would be more interested in a new military manufactured from a "newer and better" steel, like Bohler-Uddeholm K390.:thumbup::thumbup:
