Hollow handle knives

I always wanted one and a few days ago i got lucky on a trade i recieved it today its a rusty polk 8.5 hot-blued polished blade. I love it. Rambo time

There was an interview with Chris Reeves posted on here not long ago.
He talked about eventually slowing down, then stopping production of the one piece knives.

They don't just sell as good as they used to.
 
Yep, you're right. I found out through CRK that the entire One-Piece Range is being discontinued at the end of the year. :(

Yeah kind of sucks but I'm sure they will move on to bigger and better things.
I might have to pick up and aviator some time soon.

Sounds like BS to me.
 
I think he's been waiting on a Randall for 4 years not a Chris Reeve knife.
 
Apparently, the gentleman in South Africa who does most of the machining of the One-Piece knives is retiring at the end of the year. CRK said it would be too expensive to bring the work here. The price of the knives would sky rocket.
