Hollow or flat grind

I like a hollow grind.Easier to sharpen',you can get a thinner edge but the back of the blade is usually thicker for strength and it just looks better! Weldonia

Sure are a lot of people bringing up this topic. This is the third thread in the last couple of weeks. I prefer the hollow grind for shallow cuts, and the flat if I need to cut deeper.

Sorry folks I'm new to this board and went to post on a previous topic but hit new topic by mistake. Then didn't know how to retract or move back to the original topic (where's a kid when your screwing up on the computor or need a vcr programed?). I'll get my act together. Weldonia
