Just wondering what holsters you guys use for your favorite handguns. I`m planning on getting one from Ryan later this year, just not sure which model, and for which gun.

Old Roy Baker for a full size .45

Kramer for my custom Glock 17

Kirkpatrick crossdraw for full size .45

Nothing special here, just this elcheapo from cheaper than dirt, for the GP100.
It has a pouch for a speed loader,so I like it for woods bumming.(No that's not a mag pouch like I first thought when I opened the package)
I have an old Bianchi X15(?) shoulder holster for the GP100 also.
For the 45 I have a Fobus.

Del Fatti for my HK P7 psp, Milt Sparks for my Sig P6, De Santis for my Smith 5904.

I would check out Ryan Grizzle for a custom maker as I have one of his belts and it is very high quality.

and a damn nice guy to boot!

holsters, now you have me thinking, been working up to getting a rifle this year, I have the most experience with rifles anyhow, but after mqqns post the other day maybe i better get more familiar with hand guns to, and it would need a holster...ummm :D

I have a few desanti's and some other run of the mill leather or nylon holsters. I also have a custom holster from a guy in Kansas City named Hopp Custom Leather holsters, he does amazing work and is very reasonable. I had him make me an iwb/owb leather holster for my Sig220, it's very nice. I plan on having him make me a few for some of my other firearms in the future. Thing is, I can no longer wear nylon iwb holsters, some how I've developed some sort of allergic reaction to the nylon. I thought I had poison Ivy for a while around the area where my gun is holstered, about 4 oclock on my body. I stopped wearing my holster cause it was itching the area too bad and I wanted it to air out. The rash finally went away but as soon as I start wearing the holster, back it comes. I did this cycle a few times, even washed the holster thinking it had the poison ivy oil on it some how, nope! Just me and nylon do get along anymore when it's pressed against my skin for extended time and moisture gets involved.

My go to companies are garret industries and pj holsters. Awesome companies and people running them (though Paul is more of a 1 man shop lol).

Having carried a concealed firearm for neigh on 30 years now I have tried practically everything under the sun. I have settled on the Crossbreed Super tuck Horsehide version as my go to holster for my edc gun, a Glock 17.
It looks weird but I have not found a better more comfortable rig for hot summer carry in Southern Africa. It holds the gun superbly and provides quick access.
Try one, you won't be sorry.

I have quite a few different holsters but here is my favorite two. First is my Diamond D Custom Leather Guides Choice Chest holster. I don't think there is a better chest holster made on the planet. It allows me to carry my 3 inch barrel Smith & Wesson 44 mag in the center of my chest while fishing. My second favorite is made by Simply Rugged adn the model is the Sourdough Pancake. I can carry this holster on my hip outside or inside the waistband or my chest.

Hi John -

I have a Galco leather holster for my baby Kimber, and a Fobus plastic paddle for my Glock .40 and magazines.

I am really liking the paddle holster, although I did not think I would. The Fobus was only $20, but it has an adjustable retention, and it is very comfortable.

I used it all day today in a DTEL Tactical Pistol course, and the holster was absolutely comfortable and trouble free.

John asked me to post some pictures of my holsters so I thought I'd post some of my personal gear.

This is my T&C2 reinforced IWB. Right now this is my favorite holster and is what I currently carry most of the time.

I occasionally carry my Commander in this RnR IWB holster as well.

Here are a few of my OWB holsters. The first two are my GS holsters and for OWB concealment these are my favorite.

I have an old Galco for my 629 here somewhere. I agree on the Fobus paddle, I gave mine to Cooper.

I have holsters from a local Portland maker named Ted Blocker. I also have a Blackhawk holster that I was recently given but haven't been home to try it out yet.
Ryan, Thanks for the pic of the IWB with the BBQ belly. I have one of those bellies too and I think I will need one of those holsters one day. It looks like exactly what I've been wanting.
Your work looks fabulous. I'm betting that it works as good as it looks, too.

I carry all day with a RnR by RGrizzle for my S&W 1911sc E Series. I can barely tell its there.

In classes, I have custom made Kydex OWB pancake for my G19.

I really like the Ravens, but have not had s need to add to the "spare holster drawer".

I have been ordering TT Gunleather holsters lately. Very well made. Expecting one soon for my Colt Railgun.
I really like RGrizzle holsters. I keep looking at those. Maybe one day.

Beautiful holsters Ryan.
I like the texture on the Black OWB with the Comander in it.
I've got a question for you all....
I don't wear a belt day to day so would a Paddle still work without the support of a belt?
