Holstex , I know some of you Hogs..........

As to the no taco sheaths, well it was recommended to do everything pancake style but I have made holsters and a taco sheath out of the stuff and it works fine, just no pics yet.

No Rattle Hawk sheaths yet :)

I just finished a "battle drab" Holstex taco for my Team Gemini Military Overrun yesterday. I opted for a "floating" style sheath, what you would find when carrying a large bowie IWB. I will put up a couple pics once I get out of work. I found the material a little stiffer than kydex when doing the taco style, but eventually got it to work out. The included "liner" material is nice for wrapping the blade during the molding process.

EDIT:
Here's a couple of the sheath I just made from Holstex.

I used a brass stud to keep it from slipping into my pants. Seems to work ok so far, just has to be re-canted if going from a seated position to standing, since there are no belt loops or clips to keep it in a fixed position.

I like it.
It balances the gun just right for quick shots and the ported Storm Lake 9mm barrel helps a bunch.

Off topic.

How ya like that brass mag well on yer tupperware? I've been mullin' one over.

Very cool David.

Wow, that's the best looking kyd... thermoformed pants for a mistress that i've seen! Really like the exposed spine, looks like a short draw once the strap is released... niiiiice.

Might be in touch on one of these soon... have to recover from the last two months of bussebuying, first
