This is a field grade Loveless style skinner. This is the first knife to leave my new shop since we moved back to Iowa. Please forgive the bad cell phone pics. I don't have my photo box setup yet. The specs are below.

Steel: 4 ½" CPM154 Stainless Steel hardened to 60c with cryo treatment
Grind: Deep hollow grind (14" diameter wheel) with mirror finish
Tang: Aggressively tapered to reduce weight
Handle: Stabilized Black Ash Burl with two tone liners (black and bed)
Guard: 416 Stainless with soldered guard
Edge: Stopped and irresponsibly sharp!

Price: $245 includes CONUS shipping.
Paypal preferred

First "I'll take it" gets it.

The blade is about 0.200 at the thickest point. Each side tapers about 0.062 towards the tang.

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm located in Robins, just North of Cedar Rapids.

Since my grandpa passed this year, I don't have many reasons to head out your way, but if you do custom work, it would be worth my time to make the drive sometime and discuss a project I have in mind.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa, but if you do ever make it up this way I'd be happy to talk with you about the project you have in mind.

Doz: I agree with you - this is a well executed Loveless at a VERY reasonable price. I charge $300 + for this knife.

Well done:thumbup:
