Sold to me as brand new in the pouch but there is a slight glint on the edge near the tip like it was used to open a box or something. Was not used or carried by me and I see no other signs on the rest of the knife. Didn't scratch the blade at all it's literally just a minor roll that could be easily stropped out or taken care of with a spa. The ridgeback milling pattern has become one of my favorites besides just the pleasing aesthetic. The texture changes across the frame like ripples rather than being consistently spaced and also varies in depth. It has a very satisfying feeling in the hand. Amazingly, but not surprisingly since it's a Holt, I can't feel any difference handling or operating the frame lock compared to the liner lock...easy as can be, zero lockstick, lockrock, blade play, detent lash, etc. It is just extremely well engineered and fine tuned. $710 PPFF
