same here. already have a 4 and 5. therefore I can't justify paying $200 for just the bk20, especially when I know it's probably not going to get used a whole lot
 
Are they going to do a limited run of pre production like they did with the 10 and then put it into production or are they just going to make 450 and that is all.

I just bought a BK21 and now this. Ka-Bar will ruin my bank account completely :-D. My BK21 is on the way from the USA to me in Czech Republic (resend by my friend from Arizona) and now I must bothering him once again and with even three knives at once. But I will be definitelly only one owner in Czech with BK20 :-P. So it must be done - bought. My Becker collection will be finished with this, at least I hope so. And then I will have to buy new Ka-Bar Turok...this addiction is really bad :-D.
 
I foresee an ocean of BK5s and 4s on the exchange competing for the lowest price...

I dunno what to do...

Guess I can always sell it down the road, but let's face it...I never sell anything. That's how I'm in this boat now. My eyeballs hurt, the only cure is to gaze upon the lovely BK20...yeah, now my wallets whimpering.

First world problems... Sigh...
 
The question is now that the 4 and 5 are out of production, how long will you have to sit on the spares in order to get your money back out of them.... if they were to dry up pretty quickly and start running at 100.00 each say sometime this fall, you would look pretty good with a 20 for a 0.00 net once all said and done....

Problem is with them still everywhere for 45.00 to 50.00 and now Kabar showing they have enough old stock to be doing something like this to flip inventory.... I do not believe demand will produce the prices we want out of them anytime in the next few years.... 3 to 5 or so....

so.... as an investment?.... how long till the 20 is worth 500.00+ to collectors?...

no doubt its a great deal to anyone with 200 bones burning a hole.... but I don't think it'll be a 0 sum gain for enough years yet to make it worth loosing sleep over.

IF it had not been given that top swedge.... I'd be all over one. As is, I think I'll pass as it's just not a knife I'll use much, if ever...
 
Easy. Buy the package deal, sell the 4 and 5 together as a package to someone else. If you sell them as singles you won't make much money at all but as a package deal you'd only have to pay one shipping charge and you could probably sell them for 95 bucks shipped.
 
Tempting, tempting....

My only "problem" is that I won't want to use it, because of it's limited production. I think it's well worth the money though, considering you get a 4 and 5 with it, even if you do already have them. Can never have too many 4s and 5s.

With that said, I just placed my order, haha.
