We're putting an addition on the shop right now and while some of the guys were clearing out some old shelves they found this box of oldies but goodies!

Here's what was inside. All are Straight handles!!! They're still in the Naltex protective sheaths that we used during production! All have the old smooth coating except for the two Battle Mistresses which have the krinkle coat. None are completely finished, but are very close to being finished.

Cool huh?

We haven't figured out what to do with these blades yet. . . so if you have any creative ideas. . . please let me know. ;)

I'm tempted to call the shop to see if one of the SH SH w/out handle scales is still available.....but i'm sure one of the Hogs has already OINKED them all up!

I'd love to see the OD green Nukarta w/ hypnotic pattern on one!:cool: :eek: :) :D

Would that be a possibility Jerry? Or were you thinking of something a little more on the CBL side?
Since I don't know if they have been treated or not I don't know how much could be done to them. Maybe thin out the edge a bit more, add a few teeth, or even a full-blown GFD treatment! :eek:
 
Wish I'd found something like that when I cleared out my old house. Just a lot of dust, dirt and things to throw away....

Well I cast an email into the INFI pond, I'm hoping to maybe catch a SH-SH and throw some SS micarta scales on there OOOOOOOHHHHHH SH-SH-SS yeah baby! (maybe)
 
How about turning them into collector's edition models...but with a twist! ;) Gotta preserve that strong straight-handled bloodline but with a modern touch. I'm thinking satin or double-cut finish, new handles (snakeskin nukarta, or paper micarta with a distinctly NEW pattern), and maybe a special logo. Sheath not included, of course :D .

Or if Jerry's had enough CBL by now ...P...A.....Y......L......O..........A....... nah, I'd better not say it :p.
 
I wouldn't feel right selling these boys. . . but I could live with myself if I traded them. . . .

Those look to be about the era of your hand incident. Is that about right? I'll bet that's where my "original" order on my SHBM ended up.Maybe you should just send me one just for the hell of it:rolleyes:

I say make a special edition for some of our guys going in harm's way.
