Wow! All I can say is, it blew me away! I was concerned that it would disappoint, given it has a new director. Yep, the movie had a different feel in ways, but it was freaking awesome! And, if you're planning on seeing it - STAY 'TIL AFTER THE CREDITS!!!

I highly recommend this movie. As a sequel to the others, it does not disappoint. There are some shocking things that happen, but it was great

Good to hear. I'll probably see it next week. The reviews I've seen have been mixed. Some say its crap, some say its great. I loved the comic book when I was a kid and the movies have been okay. While Hugh Jackman does a good job as Wolverine, I always wanted somebody like Matt Hughes, the UFC fighter to play him. Short, powerful, etc. like Wolvie. Can't think of a lot of actors that fit that description. Maybe Stallone 20 years ago!

Jackman is more who I'd see as the Punisher or a new Dirty Harry.

I want to see it!! I don't care what other people think, I sooooo want to see it!

Just saw it last night. Liked it a lot, but I DIDN'T STAY 'TIL AFTER THE CREDITS!!! Could you email me what happened?

Mike :)

Ditto, I wanted to stay but I had a job interview I had to run to.

I was dissapointed in the movie, I didn't like the tone and thought it lacked humor. I don't blame the director as much as the story and script, but he didn't seem to add anything to it.

I'm taking my daughter to see it Monday. I like the first two. Looking forward to this one.

St James, I agree about the writing; it wasn't as subtle or insightful as the previous movie. It had more of a "tell, don't show" approach, which was disappointing. However, I disagree with you on the story because I thought this plot line made big things happen. I think that this story went out on a limb more than the other movies. Yeah, the lines seemed to be written by less skilled writers, but the movie as a whole, IMO, was a success.

Just got back from it....awesome flick!

Thanks for the tip...I stayed until after the credits...the theatre was empty but it paid off. :D ;)

could someone fill me in on the secret after the credits?? i saw it last night and had to pick up the kids asap. I thougt it was good just a little more "extreme" than the first 2

I thought it had some cliches and some predictable points that the other two didn't have, but I did indeed like it a lot. I'm not sure I liked it quite as much as the first two--still pondering that--but I did think it had some great lines for Wolverine--and Mystique had a good one, too. And yes, some surprises.

But after the credits--well, let's just say--no, I won't say...heh, heh, heh.;)

Saw it last night... I was a little disappointed as well... Ah, well... Didn't stay 'til after the credits... That's a shame... Sounds like I should have.

One cool thing about the movie was the shots of the tractor trailer transporting Mystique were done about three minutes away from my house... It was cool to see how they transformed one stretch of road into a scene that looked like the truck had travelled ten or twenty miles.
