Holy Crap Charlie! ~~ A Thank You To Waynorth

This Charlie guy has quite the reputation in this subforum :D Those knives are beautiful and the way they were acquired is even more so.

Congratulations Brett! That is WAY Cool!!
What can you say about Charlie, I don't think there is a person here who has not been humbled by his generosity. I have never met the man in the flesh and yet I consider him to be a TRUE friend. And I don't know about the rest of you but I have not had very many TRUE friends in my life.
Enjoy them Brett because I Guarantee Charlie is enjoying that beauty that you gave him! And that's the way it's suppose to be!

You said it. Wow! I would have a hard time picking a favorite out of that bunch as they all look beautiful. Nice gestures all around.

Well you made quite a bargain trading your shirt for those knives :D
Good on you Brett!
As for Charlie..................(in search for words).............................:)

Brett, the quality of that Schrade you sent me was over the top!*

I just regret forgetting to sign the tubes!! Sorry!

*note, it's all an illusion! Brett actually lost his shirt on this trade!!
Bwaahaahaahaaa!

Lol. Honestly, I didn't even realize I was shirtless until I set this up to be posted. Seeing the contents just took over and I had to share. Thanks everyone for the compliments on the knives, but more importantly, the words shared about Charlie. He makes it hard to describe the true gratitude brought about by his generosity.

Thats awesome! Massive kudos to Charlie and a huge congrats to you on this spectacular gift.

Another WOW here! :) What a great thread! Charlie's generosity and kindness is as legendary as the man himself. You're a great addition to our little community Brett, and a very worthy recipient. And, if you're a nudist...well as Pertinux says: "Your House. Your Rulez"! :D  Enjoy those wonderful knives my friend

Fantastic stuff all round gents :)

Well, I still think it was a fair trade! The "S" bolster Schrade Barlow is not completely rare, except, in that minty condition! Then it surely is rare!
Thanks for letting it go, Brett!

When something staggering happens there is the urge to rip off your clothes and scream, and why not? :D Here, it's a national institution called sauna, rolling around naked in the snow or in an ice-hole does happen:cool:

But I'm not surprised you lost it for a few seconds there Brett, to remain unhysterical at such a wonderful time would not be human! What a great haul of 'tubes' and more gestures of kindness and excellence that this place is marked by.

Congratulations, Will

Brett and Charlie, congratulations on the win-win deal you worked out! Brett, speaking of sharing, I recall that your policy is not to take any knives to work with you at your school. I'd be happy to provide daycare for one of your recent arrivals!!:D:D Oh, and Charlie, what do you feed your reindeer?;)

Any pics of the new (old) Schrade Charlie? Congrats to both of you.

Wow Brett! How do you rate? Charlie asked me to trade him a Moose knife mad by Premier Cutlery for a soupbone Charlow. I offered to pay the difference because I had taken the knife apart to remove the broken secondary and planned on putting it together. I sent the knife to him, waited and sent three PM's and still no knife.

I must be on Santa's bad boy list.:D
