Almost 3 hours later, my heart has finally slowed down to resting pace, and my hands have finally stopped trembling enough to share my story 
The Cupidganzaaaa in 2011 was the first one I ever participated in, and I'm grateful to say that all of them since that have gone smooth-like-buttah with replies sent within the first minute or two of the GO post, always getting my selections, and a lack of internet problems (thank you internet gods!)
Not so, this time!
Maybe it's my not-as-high-tech Mexican internet connection, or maybe just those Fnords playing tricks on me, but this was easily the most intense one ever!
I got on at 855pm EST, pumped and ready to play, happier than ever to be back and a little more active in this awesome community.
I had my email ready, all 5 possible web pages that Jerry could post the "GO" in open, and was simply scrolling through my tabs, reloading and scanning and reloading again waiting for Jerry's post.
At about 9:26pm I notice that pages have stopped loading and my computer was no longer connected to the web. Bear in mind that I'm currently visiting my girlfriend and her family (for the first time), staying in their house. I had to hold myself together and avoid potential melt-down while urgently but also with a calm face troubleshooting internet problems in a foreign house with a family that I'm trying not to scare away quite yet...other people in the house claimed to be connected but after a quick restart of my computer, I appear to be connected but now get some error message from their internet service and am basically blocked out...
9:29pm - Calm face is starting to crumble, and I'm on the brink of loss-of-sanity. Girlfriend was nice enough to get her computer out at this point and after seeing that she can't connect finally believes me that we need to reset her house's modem/router.
9:30pm - modem/router restarted but my computer still isn't connecting! At this point, i KNOW Jerry's post is coming soon and fear that this problem won't be resolved
As a last ditch effort, I try one last time on the girlfriend's computer...
9:31pm - girlfriend's web browser finally open and simulatenously loading bladeforums and gmail (with success!). Logged into gmail, and the first post on the bladeforums homepage is Jerry's "GO GO GO!" post! AHHH! I both panic a little more and breathe a sigh of relief, seeing that he had JUST posted...
Email for 1 AMSMO in black micarta sent to Lexi and Jerry with a timestamp of 9:32:37pm!
Whew! What a RUSH!
Unless David, Tom, and Jaxx bought up everything with their emails, I think I'll be lucky enough to have my hands on this sweet knife soon
Next Ganzaaaa' I will have 3 computers running, just to play it safe
