Holy crap

Whew. Glad you're safe. What are you going to buy with the insurance settlement?

It's a church, the pastor is very friednly about it all- they will buy me wood and bolts and stuff to make some new workbenches and that's good enough for me :)

They would rather fix the fencing themselves, which is cool- naturally I'll be unable to stand by and watch, so I'll end up helping

That's crazy, glad you are ok though bro !

Maybe you should sink some concrete posts in incase they do it again !!!!!

I actually think I'm going to get the church to put up some more trees right along the fence line.

Holy hell man, you should put up some signs, "DONT FORGET TO SHIFT AND NOT HIT MY HOUSE!"
:D

Seriously though, good thing you were not in the man......... wow......

Wow, good to hear you're not hurt but man that's a bad deal.

The moral of the story is: The early bird gets run over by a car!

we're talking about it, and I think I'm going to move the kids' playhouse to a different fenceline. And I might not rebuild that bay of the shop, further down the fence they have storage sheds that block the parking lot from the fenceline. If I shift things over a a bay, I'll be on that part of the fence instead

Good to hear you are o.k man. Talk about not being in the wrong place at the wrong time..... Do you get to keep the car??? Well its in your yards now and all... Something to talk about around a camp fire.

sasha

In thinking about it, if I were going to plow through a building. I probably wouldn't want to plough through a building full of razor sharp knives. I could just imagine hundreds of 12" blades sitting on top of shelves and such. Then there as that sword :O

Edit - Christoff - that is very noble of you to work with the church on a solution especially in these times. I wish more people took your attitude to things.

Man! Glad you weren't grinding. I know it had to be a relief when ya knew the wife and kids where ok. You're taking it very well to I'd add.

Glad you were slacking off on knife making bro! Scary stuff!

I had a car go through the front of my store on two seperate occassions. No body was hurt.

Both times it was an elderly person that got confused between the brake and the gas pedals.

Christof,

Wow, Sorry to hear about the accident, just glad you and your family are ok. You are handling this situation amazingly well and I have a lot of respect for that.

If you let me know your address and what type of belts you use, I would be glad to pick a few up and send them to you. Hope you can get your shop up and running again soon!
