Man I thought I had done some intense training before.

Good night this is ...................wow

That first drill was insane. Combine that with the fact that they don't mind a friendly body count if needs be (the theater and school incidents) and I would not want to be anywhere near them when the shooting started.

I see people crying in the comments about how this is not safe, and they are right, it is not at safe at all. Think about it, what is more effective? Shooting around rubber or other material obstacles, or shooting around people that can have real consequences if you are not precise and accurate? This gives you the proper training to handle a situation involving real people because you have already been through this. It provides real world input unlike a more westernized tactical drill. Yes this is very risky, but so is counter-terrorism its self.

Crying ... That's kind reading a lot into any previous comment for the sake of making your case in your own post.

The fact is that in order for any of these guys to even advance to the level that this training is demonstrating. Your looking an insane amount of investment , both in time and financing.
The idea that this is more effective is based on assumptions that leave out a mistake in training can set your team back years. Thankfully we take a different approach that places our members safety's above collateral damage in a training environment.
It comes down to who is more expendable.

Makes me sick to think of a mistake.

In the slow motion, you really see how close one of those high shots gets to the top of that ballistic vest.

Simply insane......thanks for sharing. Never thought ANYONE did anything of this sort....

That is insane. Dont think I could do it. Especially the part where you shoot live rounds into your buddy's chest. Armour or not, thats friggin crazy.

Wonder if the rounds were full powdered that were shot into the vest? I would have thought there would have been more of an impact on the person being shot?

Was that the strike one pistol they were using?

In those push shove scenarios are the rounds the "student" puts into the ground (almost his own feet) intentional or UDs ..?? I have shot CQB courses where I have been pushed and shoved around during the live fire but not to that extent or with breathing hostages/no shoot targets. TAG East and West here conduct lots of their live fire with role players mingled with targets but also not like this either.
