Well, it may be time to change the iconic image over to a bowie knife...

I had a big pecan limb go down earlier this month, and I also needed to trim up some overhang. After the trimming, I used the Becker Moses BK-29 to break down the limbs, and it made super quick work of the small stock.

Nice blade weight and balance with a big sweet spot and the ergo Becker handles.

For kicks and giggles, I had my son time me as I chopped the big limb in half. Just over a minute on relatively hard pecan. This was the one that had fallen earlier in the month, so it wasn't totally green. About 3.5" diameter.


Man, I had to get the truck up to about 90, 95 on the Interstate before all that stuff blew off. It was interlocked more than I thought.
My two cents: if you don't have a Becker "Moses" Bowie, what is the hold up?
