Hello All - I'm looking for advise on the purchase of a home base radio for my farm shop. I think it would need AM/FM, Shortwave, and Weather Alerts. I'll mostly leave it plugged into a 120V outlet, but it would need a battery back-up capability. I can't honestly see the need for a wind-up, but am not opposed to it. Two way capability would be nice, but not an absolute requirement. A visible clock would be a great feature also. Anyone have any thoughts?
