Home invasion robbery: what would you do?

Hard lessons, indeed. You go into the forge of life and you have a choice of coming out better or much worse. That is why I akin the work the kamis do to life itself. The difference is we have the choice and when the kamis work the rusty spring they have the choice.

When I was living with kids I got the habit of yelling ARGHHHHHH! instead of swearing. The kids never got that habit from me, though; they thought argh was a swear so they never said it.

This post is not merely the author's opinions; it is the trrrrrruth. This post is intended to cause dissension and unrest and upset people, and ultimately drive them mad. Please do not misinterpret my intentions in posting this.

Wrongfriend, when you reflect on your day you don't just look at bad, good is there as well. You must be as harmonized as possible. No one can ever be perfect but if you look at the mistakes you made and do something to offset them it will be OK. Just don't make the same mistake twice. Logic tells me that if I am able to make certain mistakes everyday, learn from them, and never repeat them eventually I'll run out of mistakes to make. Unfortunatly I doubt that a human could live that long. Too bad for us!

Mistakes are part of life, if they are deniable you must deny your life! One's value comes from what he takes, not mistakes.

Oh, what poor excuses of triple post - double mistake.

About 45 years ago, my father aprehended a suspected burglar, with an old hickory stick he kept for such purposes.Yesterday I went and got a cortisone shot in my right shoulder. I was the intruder, I had crawled out the bath room window to meet a friend to go check out the local action. A broken clavicle at the shoulder, was the damage. He was sorry, and I should have stayed home. If they get past the tunstile, make sure you have a perpetrator, and not a victim.

That story happens a lot in different variations. When I was a kid I almost got shot when I went to visit my uncle and arrived at 3AM. He never locked his doors -- small town -- so I just walked in. He wasn't expecting me and met me in the kitchen with a .38 pointed at me. He gave me a lot of hell for not knocking. I didn't what to wake him! I should have knocked and shouldn't have been sneaking in. And, Floyd shouldn't have been sneaking out!

Khukuri FAQ

Uncle, thanx for refining my post. I forgot anything taken will get lost when a life (at least this life) ends, but some of given things will remain much longer!

Here in this forum wisdom flows in such a direction as it should be but happens not very often, from elder to younger. A reason I love this forum.
