ok, well its not exzectley home made but rather i made it at work . i have been needing a 1" contact wheel for quite sometime and i decided to make one because well why not . i made it from 303 or 304 stainless, it was not marked. i used stainless because i dont want it to rust and sence im not coating it with rubber i want it to be strong and not dent like aluminum would. it has a 1/2" throu hole and the ends are bored out to .8655 i think + or - .0002 :D. its 1 inch in diamater, well if you want to nit pick its .9995 and 2 inches long (1.9995). it turned out very nice and i cant wate to mount it up to the beast.
the last picture i took at work with my phone and thats why its not as good of quality.

That is great but if you put bearings into it it would be even better and certainly last much longer, or did you do that too? Frank
