This is my, blown gas, heat treat forge. It will hold the set temperature within 3 degrees.

I use an NC Whisper three burner forge. The draw back to this forge is that it has hot and cold spots in it. If you're going to make one, I suggest you make one that is circular in design with the heat source coming in at an angle to make the flame swirl.
