What are some "home runs" as far knives in your opinions? I'm talking about knives that are just awesome all around. I've tried more knives than I care to list from several companies, and a lot of them end up just leaving, even if they're way cool.

Benchmade Bedlam- awesome blade and handle, very unique, super ergonomic. Never gets carried so I'm trying to move it. Grayman Satu- awesome tank of a folder, falls shut on washers, has 20CV and superb quality. Again, never carried so it's on the chopping block.

The only knives that I have that I would never sell are the ones I carry the most- which are my Contego, Adamas, and Sebenza. These knives, for me, are perfect home runs. The Contego has great ergos, looks good, axis lock, and M4 steel. Adamas has the same and D2. The Sebenza.... well the Sebenza is just perfection. What other knives in your opinion are home runs?

Such a subjective thread topic.

I must say though, on the more budget friendly side of things, for the more price conscientious, fiscally conservative minded;

The Kizlyar Ute is a homerun hard use folder IMO. The blade grinds give is a nice deep spine, and a reverse-tanto-esque type tip reinforcement with the false edge line. And the extra thick liners give it some "umph!"

The added bottle-opener and pry tool in the handle (with carbide glass breaker) are just added perks to save the tip, Crack open a cold one, or free some poor pooch from a locked car on a hot day;

And the Buck Vantage Pro is IMO a homerun lightweight summer time EDC, the grip and handle is friendly, the deep clip is great, the s30v and blade design/profile gives you plenty enough knife for most mundane daily cutting tasks, and with 2 sizes, sub 3" at just over 2oz. or 3.25" at 4, gives one options that is light enough to comfortably wear with even basketball shorts.

or even swimming trunks when working out around the pool;

Both priced right at around $50.
Ute vs. Large BVP
