Home run

I also sharked some of the early light weight Thamar khukhuris - my Thamar dui chirra is 17.5" and 23.6 ounces, and my Thamar yek chirra is 18" and 21.5 ounces. They are my two favorites so far.

Ah! It was Bob! I remember now. Took me a few tries but you got the brother to mine! and the matching Dui Chirra. gb has some nice light ones too.

Hang on to the bell bottoms Bawanna. Never know when things will come back around again. I wonder if Leisure suit Larry is online now?

Yup... It was Bob that got the twin. You are also correct in saying I have some light ones too. I have been lucky enough to score some real light weights. My Bashpati by Rajkumar is almost the magical inch per once @ 23in 24oz. Got a really light Gelbu too. The light ones Rock! Oh I almost forgot my two lightening bolts... A 18 in 15oz Reti that is one of my Crown Jewels along with a 13in 6oz Reti which is a "twin" for a 21in 25oz Kobra. I guess I own a few now but there are others with much more diverse collections.

I have a padam spring knife that is 16 inches and 13 ounces :D I am pretty sure most of the reti are about 3 ounce under the inch as well like gurka says

Yes its Yek oh no The " " on my kebord uit working. Tht int good? Hold on..Let me go swp mine for some other poor unsupecting office pu.... There thats better. Hate when that happens right in the middle of a DOTD:D
Anyway what i understand is if the surface is convex like next to the edge it is not considered a fuller. Gotta be concave to be a fuller? Might be wrong but seems to explain things to me.

Well, my first Thamar khuhuri from the 7/31 deals was listed as a dui chirra, but it really has three (tin chirra). The fuller closest to the edge is not as deep as the top two, but it's definitely concave between the second fuller and where the edge begins. So Dui or Tin - I don't know, all I know is that it's a beautiful blade. Same with the Thamar yek chirra that I got later the same day - it has two fullers, but the larger bottom one closest to the edge is not as deep as the top one, and it appears to be almost a twin of ndog's one pictured above. Ah, but what's in a name?
