Homemade Comp finish Or.... Naked Infi

Those look amazing. I'm a big fan of the character that grind marks and INFI dimples brings to a Busse. :thumbup: Nice job...

Abizzybomb- what's that bottom knife? Looks like a nmfbm. If so, how did you get that line so perfect?

Thanks Garth. @ Resinguy, I stripped it with Strip X, then I took medium steel wool and got all the nooks and crannies, then I followed that up with fine steel wool and scrubbed it under running water. I think it turned out really good. I must admit I was super nervous dunking such a huge piece of INFI love into a bucket of stripper, but I figured "what the heck....it's INFI". It took quite a bit of time and scrubbing. Whatever coating Busse uses doesn't give up easily. I think the end result was well worth it though.


Well, that looks great for just steel wool. Busse did you a helluva favor, as some CG blades can be fugly under the paint.
