I went out again to see the peregrine falcons I posted last week
and this time I had a chance to use my knife.

I think this is the first time to use my homemade knife in the field.
So I shall do a quick review of the knife.

It was used to divide tall sandwich containing ripe tomato, grilled bacon,
sliced apple and cheese.

as you may see, the job was done perfectly :D .

And the falcons were also fine. I said they are not breeding this year but
I was wrong. I could see chicks walking around the nest ledge this time :)
Sorry for the poor pict as I took this photo through my binoculars.

That's a very tough knife.....I thought the only thing that could slice through a bacon sandwich like that was my teeth:D

Nice looking Blade:thumbup:

Nice looking knife and please keep the falcon pics coming.

I like the clean lines of the knife. The falcon is cool. And what are those little rice things?

Thank you all -

The knife may have too thin handle to be used for long term of serious bushcrafting.

Handle thickness is 0.71" .

Rockwolf, that rice things are Onigiri, rice balls containing grilled salmon and wrapped with dried laver.

The bread of sandwich is also homemade, baked by my wife.

And here's a picture of that female falcon's talon took two years ago.
She has just done butcher job for her chicks.
