Homemade micarta

I buy my carbon fiber fabric on Ebay. I look for remnants or 2nd material, it's much less expensive that way!

CF pieces put into a mold and squished, didn't try to stack them straight, wanted more of a burl/marble pattern:

How does the handle fasten on. there are no pins or anything and i may be wrong but it doesnt look like a hidden tang.

Its a hidden tang kitchen knife on a frame handle. I use g10 or micarta the thickness of the tang and cut out the tang shape. Epoxy scales to it, shape and fit and polish the handle, then install. If I am doing a field type knife, I do the same, but usually grind some grooves into the bandle so the epoxy can go into the grooves and help lock the tang in instead of pins. I use JB Kwik Weld for most of my handle installs. I tried hammering off a wa handle I did with the Kwik Weld almost 10 years ago and couldnt hammer it off.
