Fine job , looks great .

Except functionally , I'd want either a much longer shaft . Or a smaller , narrower head and a rounded butt, for a stabby /thrusting short spear .

You are probably right, the pointed spear butt should have been less length for more handle but it is heavy enough to help balance it out (pob is just below where the spear head meets the shaft) and I am just “child like”
To think it looked cool

also the spear head is sharpened on both sides so it can be used to slice as well as jab

Funny how all your battle weapons end up in the garage . Still have a few in the house .

Well, I do keep some tomahawks in the house, full sized spear might be somewhat unwieldy inside. I can’t speak for other but my longer weapons do seem to end up in the garage

As mentioned I also have a garage spear in a much more traditional European style. It was my first spear and I learned a lot about how to attach the spearhead and butt. The new one is much better put together so it was certainly time well spent and it’s a Garage spear!

Also due to its length you can see why it normally lives in the garage.
