Honduran Rosewood Burl Scales and Blocks

First off, i wanted to thank everyone for the kind welcome that I recieved after my first posting. Here is some Honduran Rosewood Burl. Like the cocobolo burl, i have a partner in Central America that harvests the burls for me and I import them directly. Beautiful burl, John! I've also bid on one (hoprefully NOT the one Greg bid on ). Have you thought about also doing a "Buy It Now" option on some of your wood? I think there are a number of people who would just buy the wood at whatever (fair) price you listed it vs. bidding on it...

Are these scales stabilized, or is it not necessary with this material?

They are not stabilized, I have not found that necessary with the rosewoods.

Rosewood Burl!! The stuff I have received from John is TOP NOTCH! What you may not know is how rare this wood is. Its one of the woods that you will not just google and find for sale.. especially of this quality! I mean yea.. you can find straight grain or even nice figured woods.. But odds are when you need a piece of exceptional figured rosewood.. And you go looking.. It wont be there! Thats just been my experience with this and a few other species. So get this stuff while you can!!

I know your probably thinking Whats John payin this guy?? Truth is, Nothin, John is a good guy and we have been doing buisiness together for a couple years. He wont do ya wrong, and you wont be sorry
