I have some honduran rosweood burl. This stuff rarely forms burls. It is a lot like cocobolo nice colors and swirly grain. These blocks are rough cut but they polish up like stone and are extremely dense. They make great handles no special finish just sand and the oils from your hand give that old handle feeling. The pictures are not great as I said these are rough cut and there is some wax and water spots but money back if you are not happy. Price is 18 bucks each for the shorter ones and 25 each for the longer handles. The sizes are written on each block.
Small blocks - roughly 1 5/8 x 6-6 1/2 x 1 1/8
large blocks roughly 1 5.8 x 9 -9 1/2 x 1 1/8
I have a mix of blocks from left to right, afzelia burl, amboyna burl, amboyna burl, red mallee burl, brown mallee burl, and jarrah burl. All quality woods. The red mallee has really small burl eyes like the size of a pin head. The blocks are all roughly 1 x 1.5 x 5. The brown mallee is only about 7/8. The pictures are just sanded down to 80 grit so they will look better finished. I was hoping to sell all of these for 85 bucks shipped or I can separate out the blocks if no one wants them all. I have individual pictures of each block.
I have a block of amboyna burl that has great curl and heart and sapwood. There is some burl on one edge and you can see the it flame out on one of the pictures. There is a indent that goes in about 1/4 on the sapwood side. 25 bucks.
