Hone compund and leather question

Sounds like you have rounded the edge during stropping.
 
sooo, how do i fix that? go back to the ceramic side on the dc4...and should i stop after stropping on the hard wool till i get my leather on some blocks?
 
Its a learning process to know how much pressure to use and how to move the blade down the leather. Give it time and keep trying.
 
yea I figured as much. What can you say about pushing or pulling on stones? I have only been pulling as with on the leather. does pushing make any difference?
